So here we are, the latest effort in the promotional juggernaut I’m constructing to spread the word about my debut novel, Typhoon Season.

For anyone who has never done something like this – written a book and then done your own PR – you may not realize just how much time is involved; we’re talking years here. From conception, to research, to drafting and re-drafting, to re-drafting some more, to publishing, to promoting, it literally becomes your whole life. There is no ‘you’ and then ‘author-you’. You are always ‘author you.’ It’s an immense undertaking.

I was recently interviewed by Taiwanese blogger SooperJerry, where I discussed many of these issues and just how the book got off the ground.
